Kamal Haasan’s new comedy Shabash Naidu which brings father Haasan with daughter Shruti Haasan together for the first time is in visa trouble. The unit was all set to leave for the US to shoot for his new Telugu-Tamil-Hindi comedy .
But visas were denied to the unit.
When contacted Kamal Haasan says, “We can’t blame them for being extra-cautious considering the times we’re going through. God knows, America has enough problems to deal with.”
Kamal says the problem has now been sorted. “There were 40 of us and some names on the passports raised problems.”
Kamal’s own Islamic-sounding name has often caused a minor stir at immigration counters.
Laughs the actor, “It’s all sorted now.And we leave two weeks behind schedule.”
