The soon-to-premiere comedy film The First Ride released its character posters, showcasing the different charms of the main leads.
On September 22, Showbox released a series of character posters that highlight each main lead’s personality and charm through their fashion and poses.
The First Ride will showcase the journey of four longtime friends who embark on their first overseas trip as they turn 30, leading to a series of unexpected events.
Kang Ha Neul, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, Kim Young Kwang, Kang Young Seok, and SECRET’s Han Sun Hwa will lead the upcoming film.
Director Nam Dae Joong, who is known for creating the movies Love Reset, Homme Fatale, and The Last Ride, will helm the upcoming movie The First Ride.
Kang Ha Neul will portray the role of Tae Jeong, the obsessed one in the group. He will focus on only one thing when he gets hooked on something, just as he did when he aced and topped the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). In the poster, Tae Joong exudes an intelligent vibe. He is the perfectionist of the group.
Cha Eun Woo will play the role of the handsome Yeon Min, who dreams of becoming a world-class DJ. His poster showcases his good looks and reflects his passion through his DJ-inspired fashion.
Kim Young Kwang will be Do Jin, the bright and unstoppable member of the group. In his poster, he’s featured as the bright yet foolish one, grinning widely from behind his sunglasses and headphones.
Kang Young Seok, on the other hand, will be Geum Bok, who doesn’t like studying, so he has mastered the art of sleeping with his eyes open. His poster’s eccentric pose offers a glimpse into the offbeat personality he’ll bring to the film.
Lastly, Han Sun Hwa will be Ok Sim, a girl whose dream is to attend Seoul National University. She is also in love with Tae Jeong. Her bold and unapologetic personality allows her to unexpectedly join the group’s lives, bringing fresh chaos and comedy.
