Kang Tae Oh Drops To One Knee For Lee Sun Bin In “The Potato Lab”

Get ready to feel the butterflies on the next episode of “The Potato Lab”!
tvN’s “The Potato Lab” is a romantic comedy that centers on a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin stars as Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, while Kang Tae Oh plays So Baek Ho, a cold pragmatist who joins the institute as its new director.
Spoilers
On the previous episode of “The Potato Lab,” So Baek Ho and Kim Mi Kyung continued their adorable change from a constantly bickering duo to an adorably soft and smitten couple. However, the episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Mi Kyung realizing the truth about Park Ki Se (Lee Hak Joo)’s relationships with both Baek Ho and Yoon Hee Jin (Jung Shin Hye).
In newly released stills from the upcoming episode of the drama, Baek Ho goes even further in his transformation into a charming romantic. In stark contrast to his completely unromantic first confession to Mi Kyung, Baek Ho surprises her by dropping to one knee in the middle of a potato field—a response to her past comment that she wasn’t sure if she’d accept his feelings even if he got on his knees and begged.
After gazing up at her with loving eyes, Baek Ho gets back on his feet to pull the dazed Mi Kyung in for a heart-stopping kiss.
Another set of photos shows Baek Ho visiting Mi Kyung during a late night at work. After finding her asleep, Baek Ho affectionately drapes clothing over the sleeping Mi Kyung to keep her warm.
The drama’s production team teased, “Will Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho be able to protect their love for one another amidst crisis? Please look forward to their deepening romance.”
The next episode of “The Potato Lab” will air on March 29 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
