Kapil Sharma’s No Obscenity Clause: The Real Reason Why He Opted Out Of Bank Chor

Kapil Sharma’s USP is his wholesome family-oriented image. And  he won’t utter one single syllable that goes against  his clean  image.

In fact team members of The Kapil Sharma Show  reveal how on innumerable occasions Kapil has said no to jokes gags and dialogues with double meaning.

When he  appeared on  Koffee With Karan he refused to answer  questions related to his sex life.

So rigid is Kapil about his no-obscenity clause that he didn’t think twice about turning down Aditya Chopra.

According to original plans stand-up superstar Kapil Sharma  was to make his debut with Bank Chor, the raunchy heist comedy from YashRaj films.

However Kapil opted after reading the script.  “Every other line was sleazy. And there were double  meanings and innuendos  even in the title of the film.  Kapil said no to Bank Chor thereby daring toanrtagonise Aditya Chopra.  Not that Kapil cares. He  made his large-screen debut with the comedy Kiss Kissko Pyar Karoon and is  now readying his second release Firangi.”

As  for Bank Chor Riteish Deshmukh happily stepped into Kapil’s shoes and mouthed all the risqué  dialogues without scruples.
