Karan Johar Plays Mediator In Siddharth-Alia Frienship

While one wouldn’t want  to comment on the current status  of  Alia Bhatt’s relationship with Siddharth Malhotra their friendship recently took a  beating reportedly due to Malhotra’s growing  closeness to Jacqueline Fernandez.

But now things are back to  normal between Malhotra and Bhatt, thanks  to the dexterous intervention  of  their godfather Karan Johar.

According to a source close to Johar, “Karan didn’t even know  there was  a problem between Sid and Alia until someone  told him about it. Knowing about their friendship he was disturbed to hear they were having problems.Karan called both  of them over have a chat. They heard him out and  decided to start their  dosti all over again.”

So where does this new development leave Ms Fernandez? Not too close to Sidharth Malhotra, I am afraid. Because one of  the  pre-conditions set down  by Alia for going back to their friendship is that he maintain a distance from  the aforementioned  Ms Fernandez.

According to  the source, Alia’s  friendship with Siddharth Malhotra is “most precious’ and for Karan  watching his “daughter”  going through heartbreak  is  not an option.
