Producers, director, chatshow host and actor Karan Johar will be dropping off the social radar for at least a year to focus on his twins Roohi and Yash.
Not only would he stay away from directing, but Karan has also dropped plans of doing another season of Koffee With Karan for the twins’ sake.
Says a close friend of Karan, “Of late Karan has drastically cut down on his workload.But he is still not able to spend enough time with his children. Now after their first birthday, Roohi and Yash have begun to recognize their Papa and demand his time. Now is the time for Karan to spend as much time as possible with them.”
The friend says Karan plans to take time off completely from his professional engagements.
“He did try bringing the twins to his office, even got a room specially done for them in his office. But it’s just not enough. He needs to focus completely on the twins for a while,” says the friend.
