Karan Johar To Remake World-Famous Lover?

We  all  know that Karan Johar has  taken a shine to Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda. The  Dharma helmer  purchased the remake rights  of  Vijay’s  previous  release Dear Comrade  but decided to  postpone  the remake  plans  when it under-performed  at  the  boxoffice.

We  now hear  that Karan is negotiating  the  remake  rights  of  the new Vijay Deverakonda starrer World Famous  Lover which opened on Friday  Valentine’s Day. The  film has opened  to mixed reports. It has impressed Johar enough to put his money into a remake

In  the meanwhile  Deverakonda with Johar’s  solid  backing  , prepares  to make  his  debut in the Hindi-Telugu bi-lingual action film Fighter. This  would not only be Deverakonda’s Hindi remake but also his first full-fledged action film.

When asked about his initiation into the world of kicks and grunts Vijay Deverekonda says, “For now I am done with love stories and  the  exploration  of  the man-woman relationship. It’s time for some action.”
