Kareena, Shahid, Alia Cut  Slash Their Price By 50 Percent For Udta Punjab

Who says our superstars are single-mindedly money-minded and that they refuse to slash their prices at any cost?

For Udta Punjab all the three principal Bollywood A-listers have slashed their market fee by half.

Says a source close to the project, “When director Abhishek Choubey approached ShahidKapoor,Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt they immediately agreed to do the film, although it was way out of their league. But Udta Punjab is about the substance abuse in Punjab.And all three said yes immediately. They even agreed to cut their fees by half as this was no run-of-the-mill film.”

However the three stars had one request: their slashed prices should not be revealed in the movie market as this would affect their pricing vis a vis other projects.
