Kartik Aryan Overcomes The Hurdles Of Nepotism

Published

on

Kartik Aryan’s new  release Luka Chuppi has opened  well. In an industry where nepotism rules, where   sons, daughters,  nephews  and nieces  of  hotshot  filmmakers are being launched with irrational  fanfare,  Kartik Aryan’s success is not only laudable, but exemplary.

He  recalls, “When I came from Gwalior   to Mumbai  to try my luck in  films   I couldn’t get  a proper accommodation. I had nowhere to go. I stayed with whoever would have me. It wasn’t an easy laugh.”

Today he can afford  his own plush place and  to have his parents and sister  visiting  him whenever they want.

“It’s  a good feeling when  you make it on your own,” Kartik says  gratefully.

One hears  Kartik has  hiked his  fee after  the super-success  of  his turn-around film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, though Kartik is neither denying nor  confirming the  pay increase.

He is  simply enjoying  the attention he  is getting after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, specially from  the female audience who just can’t get enough of him. After the release  of  his new film Luka  Chuppi  which is about a smalltown couple secretly  living-in together,Kartik has  strangers  of  the female sex  proposing to live-in with him.

There  is a roaring surging fan base  building up progressively for  Kartik Aryan among teenage  girls  in the 13-19 age group.

The fan following began to consolidate after Kartik’s very first film Pyaar Ka Punchnaama.  But Kartik couldn’t build on that base.Only after  Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety last  year , Kartik’s  career and popularity soared skywards.

He has no clue  why the delay in getting  his dues happened.  “All I know is, I am grateful for the attention and I am  not hiding from the attention. I have waited  for this  to  happen. Why would I want to run away from it?”
