Kate Middleton is allegedly creating a “difficult dilemma” for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie while they navigate the fallout from their parents’ relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Beatrice and Eugenie have laid low since the latest wave of push-back against parents Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Windsor-Mountbatten, whose prince title was stripped in October. However, Middleton is allegedly planning to change that.
“Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie received personal invitations for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ from Princess Catherine’s office,” royal commentator and broadcaster Neil Sean claimed to Fox News Digital on Monday, November 24.
The Princess of Wales, 43, has been spearheading the annual event for the past five years and is set to host the 2025 installment on December 5 at Westminster Abbey. “This is Catherine’s project, and she has the final say — very similar to the way Prince William operates Earthshot,” said Sean. “Above all, yes, the royal family wants to be seen as united amid what has been a very difficult year.”
However, Sean claims this invite isn’t an easy RSVP for Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35.
“This puts the sisters in a very difficult dilemma,” Sean pointed out. “If they don’t attend, it looks like they’re snubbing a prestigious invite. If they do attend, they know there could be a media circus with them at the center of attention.”
There has been no official confirmation from the Royals about who will attend this year’s event. However, this would mark Eugenie’s public first outing since a fresh wave of allegations against Andrew emerged in a posthumous memoir by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre.
This, coupled with emails that emerged from Ferguson to the convicted sex offender, led to King Charles officially severing royal ties with his younger brother and his ex-wife.
In the wake of the allegations, Beatrice did make an official visit to a London charity focused on preventing premature birth. However, she didn’t speak about the ongoing backlash against her parents.
