We know Katrina Kaif to be extremely diplomatic but there are moments when she opens up and reveals stuff which is candid and revelatory. This time she was not when we asked her how she found Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s Jab Harry Met Sally in Abu Dhabi. SRK is also her co-star in Aanand L Rai’s untitled film.
Says a source, “Katrina and her Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar visited the Novo theatre in Bawabat Alsharq Mall in the World Trade Center in Abu Dhabi. It was a Sunday and there was no shoot. Salman was in Mumbai and it’s the last schedule of the film. Katrina and Ali along with nine other members of the TZH team, decided to head to a local cinema to watch Jab Harry Met Sejal.”
The source adds that the group bought 11 tickets to the Novo 7-star luxury viewing experience which comes with a butler, leather recliners and food. “They were surrounded by heavy security so nobody could disturb them. They came quietly and left equally quietly. Katrina loves Imtiaz Ali’s movies and she will be working with Shah Rukh once she’s back from the UAE so she was intensely curious to know how the film was. JHMS has opened to mixed reviews from the critics and it would have been tough for her to watch the film in India and go unnoticed considering the paparazzi and TV channels are everywhere. Where else better than Abu Dhabi could she watch the film where nobody would ask her about it?”
When we asked Katrina about her trip to the theatre to watch the film and how she found JHMS, she didn’t revert back.
