On September 11, media outlets reported that Kim Hyun Jin will be the main lead of the romantic comedy K-drama One-Of-A-Kind Romance. There are no other reports yet on who will join Kim Hyun Jin in the upcoming series.
One-of-a-Kind Romance will tell the story of an ordinary job seeker whose normal life is invaded by a top actor and an idol. The story will be depicted from the webtoon of the same name by Du Bu.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Kim Jin Young (Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit and Soonpoong Clinic) and writer Choi Ji Yeon (Devilish Joy and Thumping Spike).
Kim Hyun Jin will portray the role of Tak Mu I, a top star who began his career as a child actor. He will have a romance with the ordinary job seeker named Kong Yu Il. Tak Mu I will mistake Kong Yu Il for his stalker when he sees her working as a part-timer at a convenience store. Despite his doubts, he will try to get closer to her.
