Actress Kim Min-hee and director Hong Sang-soo have been spotted enjoying a sunny day outdoors with their newborn son.
On April 25, photos surfaced on online communities showing the couple walking with their baby in Misa Lake Park in Hanam. In the photos, Kim Min-hee is seen holding their newborn, now just about a month old, while Hong Sang-soo lovingly places a hat on the baby’s head and smiles warmly.
A middle-aged woman is seen accompanying them. It appears the couple initially had the baby in a stroller and then took turns holding him during their stroll.
Earlier this month, on April 9, news broke that Kim Min-hee had given birth to a son at a women’s clinic in Gyeonggi Province. She has since been recovering at a postpartum care center. Interest in Kim Min-hee reignited after reports in January that she was pregnant. Now that images of her cradling her baby have been released, public curiosity has intensified.
Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo have maintained a relationship for nearly a decade. In 2017, they publicly admitted they were in love. Despite Hong losing his divorce case in 2019, which legally confirmed his married status, the couple has remained together.
Born in 1982, Kim Min-hee became a mother at age 43. Director Hong Sang-soo, who has a grown daughter with his wife, has now welcomed a son with Kim Min-hee, his first son.
