tvN confirmed that its new variety show “Kongkongpangpang” (directed by Na Young-seok, Ha Moo-sung, and Shim Eun-jung) will premiere on October 17 at 8:40 PM KST. The series follows the trio as they head overseas to Mexico in search of new insights and experiences, promising laughter-filled episodes for viewers.

Kongkongpangpang is the second spin-off of the “GRBR: Reap What You Sow” project. It tells the story of KKPP Food employees who, after successfully completing missions in the original show, embark on an overseas trip to broaden their perspectives and explore opportunities for the company’s growth.

Lee Kwang-soo takes on the role of KKPP Food’s CEO, with Do Kyung-soo as a department head and Kim Woo-bin joining as part of the internal audit team. Together, they create an entertaining dynamic while planning their own itinerary, including accommodations, destinations, and activities. With limited budget support from headquarters, the cast struggles to make ends meet, negotiate, and adapt to unexpected challenges, adding comedic tension to the adventure.

The first teaser reveals their chaotic journey. Lee Kwang-soo vents his frustrations: “We can’t broaden our horizons right now, we don’t even have money. The smell makes it impossible to sleep. The ants are making me itch to death!” He then adds: “Strictly speaking, we’ve been scammed. If my mom sees this, she’ll cry,” raising expectations for another legendary season.
Furthermore, Lee hilariously admits he doesn’t even know the title of the show, creating more laughs. Meanwhile, the 15-second teaser shows Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Do Kyung-soo silently riding a boat with face masks on, hinting that their Mexican trip will be anything but smooth sailing.
