Frantic efforts are already on to acquire the remake rights of various Sridevi starrers. But the one to have beaten all of them is Kriarj Entertainment who , reliable sources tell us, have already acquired remake rights of one of Sridevi’s most beloved films Chaalbaaz.
The 1989 film featured Sridevi in two roles of long-lost sister Manju and Anju who are as different as chalk and cheese. Besides Sridevi’s award-winning double role the film also boasted of the astonishing actress’ hit song-and-dance number Kissi ke haath na aayegi yeh ladki.
Sources say KriArj Entertainment has not only acquired the remake rights of Chaalbaaz but also the hit number Kissike haath na aayegi yeh ladki.
