Filming continues on The Adventures of Cliff Booth, the long-awaited follow-up to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth. Some of the main cast have already been revealed, but we’ve got two more names to add to the list: Lauren Glazier and Peter Weller.
Peter Weller, who has a storied Hollywood career with iconic roles in films such as RoboCop and Naked Lunch, as well as an appearance in Guillermo del Toro’s Netflix limited series Cabinet of Curiosities, confirmed his involvement in the project during an interview with the podcast Reel School. He didn’t confirm any details about his role other than saying (h/t The Fincher Analyst), “I just got asked to do another wonderful film with David Fincher and Quentin Tarantino, and there’s no name to it, but, you know, I’m in it. So, there you go.”
Lauren Glazier, who previously worked with director David Fincher on the Netflix series Mindhunter as well as roles on Netflix’s Ransom Canyon, Tales of the Walking Dead, and See, has been confirmed to play a role in the new film. She has already been seen on set (see set photos below).
They’re joining already confirmed names such as Timothy Olyphant returning as James Stacy, plus newcomers Carla Gugino, Elizabeth Debicki, Corey Fogelmani, Scott Caan, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Barry Livingston, and JB Tadena. Holt McCallany remains listed by Variety and IMDb, despite the actor stating he has no formal involvement.

The movie has been in production, much of it within the public’s view, allowing us to capture some epic behind-the-scenes snaps across Los Angeles since late July 2025. Our understanding is that it’ll run through at least January 2026. Tarantino has weighed in on the decision to put the movie on Netflix and praised the director. That said, the movie has yet to get a formal announcement.
One of the biggest lingering questions about the movie is whether Leonardo DiCaprio will return. Much has already been speculated and reported regarding his potential cameo, but while promoting his new Paul Thomas Anderson movie, One Battle After Another, he gave a rather vague response to Entertainment Tonight. Asked if he’s going to cameo, DiCaprio says, “I’m excited to see that movie, I think it’s the continuation of the great Cliff Booth onto different things.” Pressed further he said, “I think they’re already filming.” Entertainment Tonight took that as an outright confirmation he won’t be in it, but our interpretation is the exact opposite…
Much like anything regarding the status of The Adventures of Cliff Booth, Netflix is declining to comment.
