Lee Jae Wook, Choi Sung Eun's 'Last Summer' confirms premiere date

Last Summer has been confirmed to premiere on November 1 and unveiled stills from the script reading.

Last Summer tells the story of a man and a woman — friends since childhood — who come to face the hidden truth of their first love, locked away like Pandora’s box.

Lee Jae Wook takes on the challenge of a dual role as genius architect Baek Do Ha and his twin brother Baek Do Young. Choi Sung Eun plays Song Ha Gyeong, an architectural public official.

Kim Gun Woo plays Seo Su Hyeok, an appellate lawyer with a 99% success rate.

Jung Bo Min is cast as Lee Seul, Do Ha and Ha Gyeong’s best friend.

They are joined by Kwon Ah Reum (as Yun So Hui), Choi Byung Mo (as Baek Gi Ho), Jeong Hee Tae (as Song Ji Cheol), Jeon Soo Ji (as Kim Ae Jeong), Lee Tae Goo (as Sin Jong Sin), and Ahn Chang Hwan (as Jeon Nam Jin).

After the script reading, Lee Jae Wook shared his thoughts, saying, “I was nervous and excited, but it turned out to be a really enjoyable [experience].” Choi Sung Eun remarked, “It was so much fun getting to meet senior actors I had never had the chance to meet before.” Kim Gun Woo added, “It was about ten times more fun than I had expected.”

Lastly, the actors pointed out the key highlights to watch for in the drama. Lee Jae Wook chose the dynamics between Do Ha and Ha Gyeong, while Choi Sung Eun emphasized that it is a drama that captures the charm of summer, and Kim Gun Woo stressed that the drama embraces the many facets of summer.
