Lee Sang Yeob will reportedly join the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Dreaming of You.
On September 5, media outlets reported that Lee Sang Yeob will be added to the main cast of the upcoming K-drama Dreaming of You.
Dreaming of You will tell the romance story between a reporter in her 30s and a successful film director who discovers love after dedicating years to chasing their dreams.
Girls Day’s Lee Hye Ri and actor Hwang In Youp got the offer to lead the upcoming rom-com series. The two are still in discussion for their appearances.
Lee Sang Yeob will reportedly portray the role of Seo In Wook, the close friend of Hwang In Youp’s character Woo Su Bin. He is also the CEO of a film production company. He will reportedly have a love line with another character named Choi Sa Rang, who currently works as a television writer.
Dreaming of You will be the next work of director Yoo Seon Dong (Unmasked and The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch) and writer Rachel Eunbea Chung (Summer Grass).
The upcoming K-drama will reportedly have 12 episodes and will air on Genie TV and the ENA broadcast channel.
2023 was the last official K-drama project of Lee Sang Yeob. He led the K-drama My Lovely Boxer with Kim So Hye. In March last year, he got married to his non-celebrity wife and didn’t appear in any acting projects.
Meanwhile, this year, Lee Sang Yeob made a cameo appearance in the K-drama Beyond the Bar led by Lee Jin Wook, Jung Chae Yeon, Lee Hak Joo, Jeon Hye Bin, Kim Kang Min, and Lee Ju Yeon.
The actor will also reportedly set to star in the upcoming K-drama Genie, Earth with APINK’s Jung Eun Ji.
