The new season of “Love It or List It,” with longtime HGTV personality Page Turner taking over for Hilary Farr, doesn’t premiere until April 21, 2025, but the team behind the hit show is already planning for another season.

Real estate broker David Visentin, who has starred on the show since its 2008 premiere, filming 258 episodes with Farr before her 2023 departure, announced in a social media video on April 15 that producers are already looking for homeowners in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) interested in being on “Love It or List It.” That means another season is already in the works.

The “Love It Or List It” Instagram account captioned a video featuring Visentin, writing, “If your current home isn’t working for you – then we’re here to help! If you’re in the GTA (and surrounding areas) and have a design budget of at least $75,000, apply to be on this exciting series.”

‘Love It Or List It’ Homeowners Must Move Out of Their Houses During Renovation & Filming

In his video, taken while walking through a neighborhood, Visentin said, “Guess what? We are now casting for a new season of the show. So, if you or your partner have fallen out of love with your house and you’re not sure what to do, whether to pack up and move on or renovate and stay, now is the time to apply.

Those who live in the area and are interested can fill out an online application from Big Coat Productions, which reiterates that homeowners must have a minimum renovation and design budget of $75,000, need expert design and construction help, be able and willing to move out of their home “for the duration of the renovation/shoot,” and be “outgoing, fun enthusiastic homeowners and available to be on camera for up to 8 weekdays of filming,” to be staggered over 6 to 8 weeks.

The application also says that the show’s crew is “happy to work with” families who already have a contractor on board, or can their favorite contractors in the area. The paperwork also asks a litany of questions about the homeowners and their house.

Many fans commented on the post, with most wishing they lived near Toronto to qualify, including one who wrote, “Love your show David!! Trust me, if I was in the area I would sign up.”

Page Turner Was Announced as the New ‘Love It Or List It’ Designer in February 2025

HGTV revealed in February that Farr, who announced her retirement from the show in late 2023, would be replaced by Turner on the upcoming 20th season of “Love It Or List It.” Turner has had a frequent presence on HGTV in recent years, from starring on “Fix My Flip” to competing on two seasons of HGTV’s “Rock the Block.”

“I’m overwhelmed with all the ‘feels’ when I think about how my time on the network has led me to ‘Love It or List It,’ Turner told Blavity after the announcement, who said she was a fan of the show long before she began her rise on HGTV. “It feels surreal—like a whirlwind of excitement and collision of emotions! I still get emotional every time I stop and think, ‘Wait, Page, YOU are the new co-host of ‘Love It or List It!’”

Turner spent several months filming the new season in Toronto, frequently sharing posts from the city without divulging what she was there for. Given the casting call for another season, looks like she’ll be back soon. Her debut on the show takes place with the new season premiere on April 21 at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
