Lu Yu Xiao, Wang Zi Qi's new historical C-drama 'Serendipity' announces premiere

New historical C-drama Serendipity is premiering on April 25. 

The C-drama is adapted from the novel “Bang Xia Gui Xu” by Luo Ri Qiang Wei, and tells the story of the daughter of the Jian family, Jian Ming Shu, who accidentally falls off a cliff and loses her memory. As a result, she narrowly escapes a massacre that wipes out her family. She is rescued by Lu Chang. The two then travel together to the capital to take the imperial examination.

Harboring doubts about her identity, she begins her investigation to uncover the truth about her origins. However, her investigation does not come without hardships. Will Jian successfully overcome the numerous trials and challenges?

Wang Zi Qi plays Lu Chang and Lu Yu Xiao comes as Jian Ming Shu.

Also starring in the C-drama are Wang Hong Yi as Song Qing Shi, Snow Kong as Yin Shu Jun, He Qiu as Su Tang Li, and Roy Wang as Prince Yu.

Serendipity also features guest appearances by Wu Chong Xuan, Qin Tian Yu, Amber Song, He Hong Shan, Li Yi Tong, Yang Shi Ze, Yang Si, and Lu Xing Yu, among others.
