Madhu Mantena To Remake Rajamouli’s Magadheera

It’s been  long in  the pipeline. But now things  are finally moving ahead  for the Hindi remake  of  Magadheera  with producer  Madhu Mantena  finally  setting aside the budget that  the  film needs.

A  reported Rs  350 crores will be set aside for the making of  Magadheera in Hindi.

 While the cast  is yet to be decided  sources say Madhu is looking at  a mix  of  Bollywood and Hollywood superstars.

 Says a  source  in  the  know,  “The original  film Magadheera directed by Rajamouli  had Ramcharan  Teja and  Sonu Soodalong with Kajal  Aggarwal.The remake will have much bigger actors  from  both  Hollywood and Bollywood.”

The  original  was  directed  by Rajamouli. But he has shown no interest in doing a remake. Madhu  plans to  hire  one of  South India’s top most  directors. We hear the chose one  is  Krish Jagarlamudi who  recently directed the  controversialManikarnika.
