Malaika Arora and son Arhaan fly off to USA for a break

On Thursday night Malaika Arora took off quietly with son Arhaan for a 20-day break to USA. Both will travel to a few cities and then go to New York. This is their second vacay together in the last couple of years. Last year they had taken off to Maldives where they did a lot of adventure sports together. 

For Malaika, who has always made it a point to be a hand-on mom no matter how busy her schedule is, it’s that time of the year when she and her son are shut off from the rest of the world and love doing their own thing. “This is our time together. We eat, chill, indulge in some water sports, if we are holidaying on beaches and do yoga on the sea. Generally mother and son have a blast letting down their hair. I really look forward to this time as sometimes life gets too hectic,” the actress-producer-business entrepreneur told us before flying off.

Malaika is currently busy with the shifting of her office space to a larger one. Malaika is happy that the business of her online portal, TheLabelLife.com, selling Signature Clothing, Home Decor, Shoes and Accessories, which she runs with Bipasha Basu and Sussanne Khan has multiplied in the last few years making it possible for them to shift to a bigger space.

The actress will return to Mumbai in the third week of July. She has always maintained balance between her career and personal life. If she is a hands-on mother, she’s been there for her family, including her parents Joyce and Anil and sister Amrita and besties sisters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. Malaika spent some girlie time partying with her BFF’s too before flying off to the US with Arhaan.
