Manoj Bajpai Rushes To Delhi After Father’s Death

Manoj Bajpai’s father Radhakant Bajpai who had been ailing for some time, passed away in Delhi on Sunday.

Manoj who has been shooting in Kerala for a film directed by Abhishek Choubey, rushed to Delhi on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking from Delhi Manoj told me, “Babuji nahin rahe. I am busy with the rituals. So we’ll speak later.”

Manoj’s father was keeping bad health for some months now. In September he told me, “My father’s health is going from stable to unstable from day to day. I was there in Delhi last week. Now I am back shooting in Kerala. I’ll continue to visit my father in Delhi during every break in the shooting.”

Manoj had said the Bajpai patriarch is being well looked after. “My siblings are all there with him in Delhi. He is  being looked after well under the supervision of Dr. Anshuman at the Dharamshila Narayana Super-specialty hospital in Delhi.”

Manoj has a brother and a sister, both were observing vigil by the patriarch’s bedside while Manoj attends to his  performing duties.
