Manushi Chillar Jumps Out Of Her Prithviraj Depression, Breaks Contract With Yash Raj

The  last two years  have not been  kind to newcomers. Not one  debutant has  made any real   impact. Much was expected from  former beauty  queen Manushi Chillar in Yash Raj Films’ Samrat Prithviraj which  where she  played a  historical character.

When the  film sank, one feared Manushi’s career  too  would be nipped in the bud.Luckily for her the world saw her potential and  decided not to punish her career for the failure of her  debut film.

In no time at all, Manushi Chillar is  back, this time in a  completely  new avatar.  Doing away with the traditional ghagra-choli look from  Samrat Prithviraj , Manushi can be seen in  a  completely  westernized look,with a  chic haircut, in producer Dinesh Vijan’s Tehran  starring John Abraham.

Interestingly Manushi had a  three-film contract with Yash Raj Films. Apparently Yash Raj’s Aditya Chopra has  allowed Manushi to doan   outside  production while  Yash Raj decides how to cast her next.
