Megan Moroney Surprises Fans with Special Guitarist at CMA Fest
Megan Moroney shared the stage at CMA Fest with a special person in her life: her brother, Brian.
Moroney was joined by Brian to perform on the Nissan Stadium at the country-music festival in Nashville on June 7.

“I’m honored to be here,” Moroney told the CMA Fest crowd. “This is my fourth CMA Fest that I’ve gotten to play. Back in 2022, I played at the Spotlight Stage, which is inside the Music City Center. And I’m pretty sure the only reason people came to see me is because there was air conditioning in there. But at the time, I could hardly afford a band, so I had my brother come play guitar for me, and it was just us. And the next year, I got to play the Platform Stage, and so he came and played the guitar with me there, and last year we had him up, so it’s kind of become a tradition. I mean, he taught me how to play guitar with my dad, and he’s here tonight, so y’all please make some noise for my brother, Brian.”
The crowd cheered as Brian joined Moroney on stage.
“He’s a really cool attorney in real life, but tonight, he’s a rock star,” she said. “Y’all really changed my life with this song we’re about to sing. So thank you to every single person who supported me from the beginning. I know that I wouldn’t be on the stage without y’all. I’m just so, so grateful that I get to do this with my life. So thank you so, so much. I’m honored to be here. This song is called ‘Tennessee Orange’.”

“Tenessee Orange” is one of Moroney’s most streamed song on Spotify with over 300 million streams on Spotify.
Megan Moroney is on the Road
Moroney is currently on the road in support of her “Am I Okay?” album released in 2024. The tour kicked off on March 20 and is to end Oct. 12. The country star has been keeping herself busy as she released a track, “You Had To Be There”, alongside Kenny Chesney and even joined him at the Sphere in Las Vegas to perform the song live for the first time. Fans are also on the look out for new music from Moroney as she teased a new track.
