Melissa Gorga opened up about her life outside of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

In an April 2025 interview with Decider, the Bravo TV veteran hinted that she could have something new “in the works” in the reality TV realm. When asked if she would consider going on a reality competition show, Gorga coyly replied, “I would. I think there are some things in the works right now that you might hear about soon.”

“Yeah, maybe, who knows?” she added. “I’m willing to do things that come.”

Melissa Gorga Said There’s 1 Reality Show She Won’t Do Yet

Gorga has talked about her love for watching “The Traitors” ever since her friend and RHONJ co-star Dolores Catania appeared on the show. She even talked all things “Traitors” with Catania on her “On Display” podcast.

But Gorga also made it clear that she has no interest in competing on the Peacock reality show due to her other businesses and busy life as a mom of three.

While speaking about those things she has in “the works,” Gorga clarified, “’Traitors’ is not one of them just yet, and I’ll tell you why. I can’t put my phone down for three weeks and have zero communication with Envy or Sprinkle or Antonia or Gino or Joey or Joe. I just can’t. I’m not there yet.”

“You literally cannot – you can’t check an email, you can’t make a phone call,” she said of the show’s restrictions. “Not yet. I’m not there. I can’t do that yet.”

Gorga has been a cast member on RHONJ for 14 years, but her status on the show is in limbo amid talk of a full reboot or cast shakeup for season 15.

In a March 2025 interview with Extra, she said she was looking forward to having the summer off from filming. “I’m like not mad at the pause,” she added. “I know everybody’s mad at it. I’m really not. I’m like ‘okay.’”

While she believes the show will be back in the future with a hybrid cast, Gorga also said she will “handle” things no matter what Bravo decides. “I’m busy and I’m okay either way,” she told Decider. “So I’m just waiting like everyone else to hear the news. I’m one of you just waiting to hear what’s gonna happen.“

Gorga made a similar comment on the “On Display With Melissa Gorga” podcast last July. “Either way, I think that … we’ve shown a lot of our lives and I’m happy to continue showing it, and I’m also happy with the memories that we made,” she said. “So I feel like we’ll be at peace either way.”
