Michael B. Jordan recently opened up about the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, and the things Jordan wishes he might have done differently.

What did Michael B. Jordan say about Chadwick Boseman?

Jordan was interviewed as part of the new Apple TV+ documentary Number One on the Call Sheet, which premiered today on the streaming platform. In it, he discusses the impact that Boseman had not only on him, but on the movie industry as a whole, prior to his death in 2020 from complications from colon cancer.

In an exclusive clip given to People, Jordan says that he often thinks about how he wished he would have checked in on Boseman more, and that it “weighs” on him to this day.

“It’s something I think about often, you know,” Jordan said. “Not checking up as much as I should. It’s something that weighs on me also. I’m not trying to turn this into a therapy session, but Chadwick is special. I was looking forward to, like, you know…” the actor says before trailing off.

Jordan and Boseman starred together in 2018’s Black Panther, a massive hit for Marvel Studios and everyone involved. Unfortunately, Boseman would pass away two years later.

Jordan has openly spoken about his wishes to have worked with Boseman on other projects, and the star did appear in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which dealt with the fallout of the death of Boseman’s character, T’Challa.
