Nadeem Saif To Take Legal Action Against Honey Singh?

After a long hiatus Yo Yo Honey Singh made a comeback with a new version of the chartbuster song Dheere dheere se meri zindagi mein aana from the film Aashiqui released in 1999.

It was bad enough that  Yo Yo’s cover version did not credit the love ballad’s original composers Nadeem-Shravan. Now even the singer himself seems to have conveniently forgotten that  the song is not his original.

On The Kapil Sharma Show  when Yo Yo Honey Singh  appeared as a  guest Yo You Honey Singh told Kapil that he was unwell for 1 ½  years  when he composed Dheere dheere se . And when he, Yo Yo,  was unable to complete the tune his mother helped him with the song.

On being contacted  Nadeem Saif was livid  when  told about Yo Yo’s failure to acknowledge the source for Dheere dheere.

Says Nadeem “ I would first like you to first ask Honey Singh his date of birth, because I feel he must be in his nappies when I composed this song.I am surprised at the audacity of baby Yo Yo to make such baseless claim on national Television.”

Nadeem reasserts his creative right over the  love ballad . “Dheere dheere se meri zindagi main aana, tumse pyaar hame hain kitna jaan-e- jaana, tumse milkar tumko hai batana…. this main hookline is written and composed by me (Nadeem Saifi) of the NS brand. My lyricist Sameer Anjaan, my partner Shravan, produceraMukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt, Didi Anuradha Paudwalji and a hundred musicians, are all wittness to my composing this song and thousand other superhit songs which are blaring through the radios across the globe.”

Nadeem admits he’s contemplating legal action. “ I have refrained from sueing these amateurs only because this song was dedicated to our beloved Gulshanji(Bhushan Kumar’s father Gulshan Kumar the architect of Super Cassettes/T Series)But if push comes to shove, I think I may have to take this up to the legal system.”
