Naga Chaitanya who has been holding his breath about audiences’ reaction to his new Telugu release Love Story can breath a sigh of relief.
This working class marital drama is working at the boxoffice. The first two days at the boxoffice show the best collections for an Indian film since the pandemic in March 2020.Experts say the film will eventually be the biggest grosser of Naga Chaitanya ‘s career so far.
Apart from the story of a married couple trying to establish their individual career, what has really worked in the film’s favour is the fresh pair of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi.
Says Naga Chaitanya happily, “The audience seems to really like our pairing . They like the film too. They have made an effort to go into movie theatres at a time like this when the pandemic is still prevalent, and that’s very encouraging and gratifying. I am overwhelmed.”
The one most relieved and happy is Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagaraj who has been hoping and praying for the focus to shift from Naga’s personal life and his seemingly troubled marriage, to his career.
