After the highly-acclaimed Lunchbox Nawazuddi Siddiqui is all set to team up with director Ritesh Batra again.
“That’s right. I am doing Ritesh Batra’s next. It’s an intense subject and totally different from The Lunchbox and yes, unlike The Lunchbox where I wasn’t really the central character this time I play the lead,” says Nawaz who makes his Hollywood debut later this month in the much talked-about Lion.
“It isn’t really a Hollywood debut. It’s just a cameo. I am there in only one scene. I did it because the director Garth Davis personally asked me,” reveals Nawaz, for who the length of a role never happened. “I am as happy with my lead in Haraamkhor and Ritesh Batra’s film as I am with my cameo in Lion.”
