The transformation was revealed during a June 25 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! alongside co-star David Corenswet. This new hairstyle marks the first time Hoult has gone blond. The bleached look was paired with a Western-embroidered Prada sweater, gray trousers, and a Cartier Tank watch.

Fans have taken to social media to praise Hoult’s bold new look, with many also admiring his appearances throughout the Superman press tour. Hoult shared, “I walked over to say hello. He stood up, and I was like, ‘Goddamn, he’s about an inch taller than me. Look at his hair, look at his jawline,’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘His voice is a little deeper too, he sounds like Superman.’”

The actor further added, “In that moment, whilst we were shaking hands, I was like, ‘I’d be happy if this guy was Superman.’”
