Oshi No Ko Season 3 Previews New Ending Theme Song with First Trailer
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, animation studio Doga Kobo released a new visual and first trailer for Oshi no Ko season 3. With that, the anime announced that Oshi no Ko season 3 will premiere on January 14, 2026, on TOKYO MX and other Japanese networks. The anime will stream on Crunchyroll worldwide as it airs.
As for the anime’s new visual, it features Aqua and Ruby Hoshino at the center with their backs against each other. Supporting characters such as Kana Arima, Akane Kurokawa, and Mem-Cho can be seen below them, while Ai Hoshino can be seen facing the other way in the background.
As for the anime’s first trailer, it reveals and previews the ending theme song「セレナ-デ」(“Serenade”) performed by singer-songwriter natori. The trailer also introduces fans to two new characters and their cast members. Yuto Takenaka voices Shun Yoshizumi and Yoji Ueda voices Tetsu Urushibara.
What to Expect From Oshi No Ko Season 3?
As per the synopsis for Oshi no Ko season 3, it has been six months since B-Komachi released “POP IN 2.” Thanks to Mem-Cho’s hard work, the idol group is about to get their big break. Amidst this, Aqua, who believed he was free from his revenge, had become a multi-talented entertainer.
However, just as it seemed like everything was going well, Ruby Hoshino will step up her investigation to find out Gorou Amamiya’s killer by joining Aqua’s variety show Dig Deep! One Chance as a host. According to the trailer, Ichigo Saitou will be helping her in this mission.
During Oshi no Ko season 3, fans will also be introduced to two new characters, Director Tetsu Urushibara and Assistant Director Shun Yoshizumi. Urushibara seemingly overworks Yoshizumi, and as evident from the trailer, Ruby Hoshino is set to seize this development to help her cause.
Elsewhere, as revealed by the trailer, Akane Kurokawa’s career as an actress starts to take shape. While she knew Aqua liked Kana, she seemed happy about her relationship with Aqua.
As for Kana Arima, after learning about Aqua and Akane’s relationship, she lost the cheerfulness she once had. While it was already very difficult for her, Aqua constantly ignoring her was making it worse. As such, evidently, she is going to voice her feelings to Mem-Cho.
Hopefully, as we inch closer to the anime’s release, Doga Koba will drop additional trailers, hinting at what else fans can expect from the upcoming anime season.
