Finally, after weeks of delay Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat opened to packed houses and a standing ovation in Madhya Pradesh.
The film had a tentative beginning in MP on Saturday with shows being limited to Bhopal. But a wider across-the-state screening was planned from Sunday.
Speaking on Saturday evening from Bhopal, a source from a leading chain said. “It’s all been peaceful so far. Audiences who have seen the film here in our theatre wonder what all the fuss was about.”
