Pahlaj Nihalani Bash For Best Friend Shatrughan Sinha Attracts Who’s Who Of Bollywood
Producer and censorboard chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani threw a party on Thursdayevening at the Sun ‘n’ Sand
to honour his dear friend Shatrughan Sinha,
which was
attended by the who’s who of the film industry.Best buddy Shatrughan Sinah and his erstwhile arch-enemy Amitabh Bachchan both came to the party. Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar also showed up and were seen warmly greeting Pahlajji(no censor trouble for the films of these two stars). But Khan and Kumar studiously avoided one another.Anil Kapoor who has worked in several Nihalani productions was all over the place. But Nihlani’s close buddy Govinda was conspicuous by his absence.
Says Pahlaj Nihalani, “For a long time I wanted to invite the industry to celebrate this amazing man called Shatrughan Sinha. When he won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award this month I decided now is the time for the party. I don’t think anyone in the entertainment industry deserves to be honoured more than Shatrughan Sinha. He is kind generous giving and honest. He is there to help anyone in the industry whenever they need him. And he expects nothing in return. I’ve learnt a lot by being in his company.My most important lesson from Shatrughan Sinna is a generosity of spirit. Give unconditionally, and do not expect anything in return.”
