Paresh Rawal Launches Sanjay chhel’s Book on Kanti Madia

Film star & MP Paresh Rawal launched film writer-director’s Sanjay Chhel’s 1st book “Mutthi Unchera Kanti Madia” about legendary Guajarati theatre actor-director Late Kanti Madia on 30th sept At Bhaidas Hall , Mumbai . Being a veteran theatre person Paresh Rawal praised the herculean task of editing 400 pages book of Madia’s illustrious carrier and contribution of 50 years.

He also shared his bitter sweet experience with Madia. Paresh Rawal said “I salute Sanjay Chhel for such a brilliant work and his love for theatre and coming out with this collector’s item”. Sanjay Chhel says “This book is like my homecoming and via Kanti Madia’s life & works , it’s my tribute to great heritage of Gujarati theater Post independence  era ”.Celebrities like popular Dilip Joshi (Jethalal of Tarak Mehta TV serial), thespian actor Arvind Joshi, Actor- Producer Sanjay Goradia, Actor- Director Suresh Rajda,TV Producer Asit Kumar Modi, Veteran writer Pravin Solanki, Publisher Ashok Shah, Senior producer Niranjan Mehta and Mrs Nitina Madia hailed Chhel’s efforts to compile this book.

This grand event had stage performances by actors like Meenal Patel & Nimesh Diliprai. Kanti Madia’s film & drama songs were sung by singers like ”Padmashri” Purushottam Upadhyay, Uday Mazumdar, Shraddha Shridharani and Rekha Trivedi. This Book ”Mutthi Unchera Kanti Madia” is published by Ashok Shah of Navbharat Sahitya Mandir.
