Parineeti Chopra: Super-Excited About The Dream Team Tour, Priyanka To Cheer Her Sis In NY

The newly rejuvenated Parineeti Chopra is super-excited about her  first stage concert which takes her to the US.

“I am going with friends Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. So it’s all very cool and exciting.We are very excited about it.We are rehearsing and readying our acts.”

It’s a first for Parineeti and all her colleagues. “This is my first world tour. In fact this the first wotld tour for all of us. We kick off in Houston in 13 August, then we do LA,  San Jose ,Chicago, Orlando and New York.”

Parineeti is very excited about her first world tour. “Years ago I saw my sister Priyanka Chopra live on stage during her Temptations concert tour. It was so cool and exciting. And now I am doing my own tour and I am getting to be on stage with some terrific colleagues. I couldn’t ask for  more.”

As a bonus cousin Priyanka Chopra will be coming to see Parineeti and the rest of the ‘Dream Team’ in New York. “It’s the last show of our tour.And she has promised to come and whistle and cheer for me.”

Her item song in Dishoom will definitely feature on  stage. “Varun and I are definitely going to perform that . I just wanted to do a song that gave me a chance to do the kind of songs Govinda  and Karisma did in the 1990s. Of course me and Varun Dhawan are no patch on them. To this day we  try to do what they did.”

Parineeti is looking at a hectic month of travelling. “We’ll be travelling all over the US,rehearsing our steps in the morning, performing  in the night, catching up on sleep on flights. I don’t think we’ll have time to relax.”
