Actor Park Bo Gum is set to lead a new tvN entertainment program focused on the elderly.
On September 16, media outlets reported that Park Bo Gum has been chosen to lead the upcoming tvN variety show titled Barber (working title). According to reports, the actor will be the main MC of the show.
In response to the circulating reports, one of the representatives of tvN confirmed, “We are currently preparing a new variety program with Park Bo Gum. The show will exclusively air on tvN, but other details have not yet been confirmed.”
According to reports, Park Bo Gum will showcase the barber skills he acquired during his military service. The actor, who served as a barber while in the military, is reportedly preparing for the program by obtaining more licenses and certifications.
The upcoming variety program Barber will showcase the journey of Park Bo Gum opening a barbershop for the elderly in the countryside.
Barber will reportedly begin airing in 2026.
Aside from the upcoming variety program, Park Bo Gum is set to return to the big screen through the new movie Dream Journey to the Peach Blossom Land. He will work alongside Kim Nam Gil in the upcoming historical film.
