SBS’s “Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.

Previously, a shocking clue surfaced about Seo Dong Joo’s (Park Hyung Sik) birth. Yum Jang Sun’s (Heo Joon Ho) wife, Sung Bo Yeon (Lee Hang Na), saw a childhood photo of Seo Dong Joo and was reminded of a boy named Sung Hyun. She even pulled out an old photograph of herself with Sung Hyun, convinced that he and Seo Dong Joo were the same person. However, Yum Jang Sun’s reaction was unsettling—he firmly pressured Sung Bo Yeon, insisting, “It’s a different child.” This led Sung Bo Yeon to backtrack, further fueling speculation that he’s hiding a major secret about Seo Dong Joo’s past.
Now, with both men holding each other’s financial and literal lifelines in their hands, their clash reaches new heights. In tonight’s episode, Seo Dong Joo and Yum Jang Sun—who have now dropped all pretenses—engage in an all-out war of wits. As tensions escalate, all eyes are on the secret Yum Jang Sun is hiding about Seo Dong Joo’s past—particularly concerning the name “Sung Hyun.” Will he finally reveal the truth?
Adding to the intrigue, the newly released stills capture Seo Dong Joo, Yum Jang Sun, and Sung Bo Yeon in a tense meeting.
