Actor Park Jeong Woo‘s third K-drama for the year will be I Dol I.
On September 23, it was officially confirmed that Park Jeong Woo will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming mystery romance K-drama I Dol I.
I Dol I will be led by Girls Generation’s Choi Soo Young, Kim Jae Yeong, Choi Hee Jin, and Kim Hyun Jin. The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of a successful lawyer who has been a fan of a K-pop idol for 15 years, and the idol himself, who deeply dislikes obsessive fans. When the idol is accused of murdering his group’s leader and best friend, the lawyer takes on the case to prove his innocence.
Park Jeong Woo will portray the role of Choi Jae Hee, one of the members of the idol band Gold Boys. He is the drummer of the band, who is hot-tempered and usually argues with Do Ra Ik (played by Kim Jae Yeong), the band’s vocalist.
Director Lee Gwang Young, who also created the series Call It Love, No, Thank You, The Secret Life of My Secretary, and The Scandal of Chun Hwa, will take charge of the upcoming K-drama.
I Dol I will premiere in the second half of 2025. It will exclusively air on ENA.
