Pete Davidson Reacts to Kim Kardashian Question: ‘Oh God’

Comedian Pete Davidson had an awkward reaction when his past relationship with socialite, TV personality, and businesswoman Kim Kardashian became a topic of discussion during his live appearance on Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney. Notably, Davidson’s relationship with Kardashian and several other prolific women over the years has drawn considerable public and media interest to the Saturday Night Live alum.
How did Pete Davidson react to Kim Kardashian question?
Davidson appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney. It streams live on Netflix alongside fellow comedian and actress Luenell. During the episode, it was brought up that he kept dating “all these bad b——-.” This prompted Davidson to appear visibly uncomfortable.
“To me, you’re just an average guy,” Luenell remarked. “I want to know the mystique. Now, you’ve had Kim K …”
This resulted in Davidson saying, “Oh god,” and covering his face with his hand.
Luenell continued by bringing up Davidson’s current romance with Elsie Hewitt, the Playboy Playmate of the Month for June 2017. “[And] several other people, you’ve got this little supermodel right now.” She proceeded to propose the idea of Davidson dating her for “research.” She elaborated, “What I think, for the research and for women across America, I think that you should take me out.”
A seemingly exasperated Davidson responded while laughing, “If that’s what it takes to stop this, yeah.”
Davidson and Kardashian were in a relationship from late 2021 to August 2022. Moreover, the former has also been romantically involved with Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Phoebe Dynevor, and Emily Ratajkowski.
Davidson, 31, provided the voice for Petey in the recently released animated feature Dog Man. Additionally, he will appear in upcoming projects such as the psychological thriller The Home, the stoner comedy Wizards!, and the heist movie The Pickup.
Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney premiered on Netflix on March 12, 2025. Davidson and Luenell appeared in its third episode along with Henry Winkler and Raymond Perez-Plascencia.
