A famous male singer-actor was recently arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a man at a Tokyo bathhouse.
According to reports, on March 28, Kousuke Atari, a 44-year-old J-Pop singer and actor, was arrested in the early morning in a bathhouse in Gotanda, Tokyo. The incident reportedly occurred around 1 am, when Atari allegedly sexually abused a man in his twenties, who was asleep in a chair at the bathhouse.
The victim reacted quickly and caught Atari in the act. He also alerted the staff at the bathhouse, who then called the police. The singer was apprehended on the spot.
Atari has reportedly denied the accusations, while his management stated that they had been unable to reach him since the incident but were actively monitoring the situation. They also issued an apology to the victim.
