Priyanka’s Post-Engagement Party Was A Very Intimate Affair

No Karan Johar, No Ranbir Kapoor at Priyanka Chopra’s very intimate get-together on Saturday night attended by a handful of selected guests.

One of the very special invitees said, “Priyanka had personally phoned and invited just about 15-20 guests for dinner. She wanted the people who matter in her life to meet the love of her life. She personally took Nick Jonas around and introduced him to every guest at the get-together”

The guest list was surprisingly small. While filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Alia Bhatt along with Priyanka’s cousin Parineetiwere prominently present, conspicuous by his absence was everyone’s favourite party animal Karan Johar, leading to whispered innuendoes on all not being well between Praiyanka and the Shah Rukh/Johar team.

Guest were surprised when Salman Khan’s sister Arpita showed up. Priyanka lately walked out of Salman’s film Bharat, a move that Salman expressed public disapproval of.

Ranveer-Deepika, Katrina-Ranbir and no member of the Bachchan parivar was present.

“It was a very small get-together meant to introduce Nick Jonas to Priyanka’s special guests. She personally introduced Nick to each guest. He came across as very courteous well-behaved and most importantly, attentive and devoted to Priyanka. She only had to signal for him to be by her side to meet one of her guests, and Nick was right there,” says the invitee.
