Pushpa 2: Early Boxoffice Reports Are As Expected

It is here, at last! So go have a  blast. The ‘blast’ is  3 hours and 20 minutes of uninterrupted  mayhem and raucous , meshed  and mixed with a boorish bandwidth for insolence …Pushpa 2: The  Rule  is every layman’s  sureshot and every film critic’s nightmare .

Trade guru Taran Adarsh is gung-ho about the film after watching it. “Pushpa2 is poised to create unprecedented benchmarks at the boxoffice, delivering a thunderous response both in India and overseas.The film has solid merits and an award-worthy performance by Allu Arjun at its core.   Bihar distributor Kishan Damani adds, “Expectation are really high for Pushpa 2.I expect it to break multiple records and set new benchmarks .It would remain the first choice of moviegoers even in Xmas new-year break .We expect 70 crores today on  day 1 and believe it can inaugurate  the 700 crore club.”

Trade analyst Atul Mohan has  the final word.  “My expectations for Pushpa 2 are sky-high. Judging by the advance bookings and early reviews, this film is poised to shatter all records mercilessly. The sheer scale of its release, with almost 80% of cinema halls across the country showcasing it, reflects the immense confidence exhibitors have in the film. Pushpa 2 is not just a movie; it’s an event that has arrived to dominate the box-office like no other. The buzz around it suggests that no number is out of reach for this juggernaut.”

 What is the point in saying the film is as non-cohesive and disjointed as a symphony  written  by  a psychopath?The  crazily structured, eccentrically   executed  maelstrom of a storm rider  is  a  lesson on how  to make  a movie  marathon  while breaking every rule of filmmaking.

The initial opening response from a  movie theatre in Patna is… pandemonium!  “Sir, it is madness. The audience  is willing to pay any amount to see the first show , All shows  are full for the day. But ticket requests are pouring in.”
