Race 3 Distributors Liable To Lose Heavily

Here is the Bollywood secret that everyone is whispering but no one dares to speak out loud.

The latest Salman Khan starrer Race 3 is likely to be a loser in double digits for distributors.

A very close friend of Salman’s says the Superstar is concerned by the impending losses. “Bhai doesn’t want the distributors to suffer losses. He had compensated them for their losses over Tubelight. He will do so again for Race 3 provided he gets to know the extent of the losses. Right now the picture regarding the film’s boxoffice collections is hazy.”

Apparently Race 3 has made close to Rs 175 crores during the first week. But there was a substantial slump in the second week. With Raj Kumar Hirani’s Sanju releasing this week Race 3 is expected to collapse in its third week.

While no one from the film’s team is willing to go on-record about the abysmal underperformance of Race 3 reliable sources say Salman has no one to blame but himself.

“When Tubelight bombed Salman could put the blame on the director Kabir Khan as Kabir would not listen to Salman’s suggestions. But this time during Race 3 director Remo d’Souza did exactly what Salman wanted,” says a friend of the Superstar.
