Rajinikanth & Akshay Won’t Share Stage?

Now that January 2018’s first big-ticket release 2: 0  is  ready, admirers of Rajinikanth and  Akshay Kumar hoping to see the two iconic  superstars doing an Uttar-Dakshin  live  are  in a for  a disappointment.

Very reliable  sources from the 2: 0 team  say  Rajini and Akshay won’t be  doing much combined  promotions  for  the film.Apparently the two superstars would rather halve their collective star power and promote the film individually.

The first casualty  of  this urge  to abstain from a public display of shared camaraderie  is the 2: 0 music launch in Dubai on October 27.

Sources say Shankar is “going crazy” trying to convince  his two superstar-heroes to attend the historic event to be  held at the famed Burj Khalifa.

So far Shankar has had no luck.

“Rajini  and Akshay are adamant. They’d rather promote the film separately than be seen together. Their fan-following is  completely segregated . So no point in a collective promotion,” says  the source.

Staying separated  in their stardom…we don’t know whose idea this is. But we suspect it is the master-strategist Akshay Kumar’s work.While the superstars  plot their  collective thoughts on  their  individual appearances, director Shankar bites his nails in  suspense  over the fate of  his ambitious  music launch at the tallest building in  the world.

If he only he knew our actors have egos even taller than the Burj Khalifa.
