Speculative mischievous reports can often cause an embarrassment for those who are thus written about.
So it happened with the much-in-demand Rajkummar Rao last week when it was reported that he “walked out” of Nitesh(Dangal) Tiwari ’s next directorial venture because he didn’t want to play “second fiddle” to Sushant Singh Rajput.
The report created an unnecessary awkwardness between Rao and Raput who have been friends since they shared screen space in Kai Po Che four years ago.
The speculative report had us believe that since Rao’s stature as an actor had changed since Kai Po Che he was no longer comfortable playing a secondary role to Sushant.
However, Rajkummar Rao completely refutes the report saying, “This is false new since I was never offered this film.’
