Rajkummar Rao , Patralekhaa No Rift Over Love Games

Who is spreading stories of a rift between actor Rajkummar Rao and his girlfriend Patralekhaa? Neither of the two love birds, for sure.

They are not only happily together, but the reason given for their differences—the sizzling seductive scenes Patralekhaa has done in her post-launch film Love Games–is according to Rajkummar, utterly absurd.

He laughs off the reported squabble with Patralekhaa in full public view in the lobby of the building where they stay.

“Patralekhaa and I can’t stop laughing at these stories. I feel really sorry for people who spread such stories,” says Rajkummar.

Rajkummar  wonders who is behind these stories and why they are being spread.  “The fact is, I am immensely proud of Patralekhaa and I truly respect her as a person and her work. She is one of the most talented  girls I’ve met in my entire life.”

The actor who has just completed shooting a black comedy called Newton directed byAmit Masurkar says he completely stands by Patralekhaa’s bold and beautiful makeover in Love Games. “She didn’t do  this film because it’s a bold film but because it’s  performance-driven role and because it is for Mahesh Bhatt Saab and Vishesh films.”

In fact there is a strong lobby suggesting that the Rajkummar-Patralekhaa rift stories are planted to generate interest in the film. It is even being suggested that SushantSingh Rajput’s rumoured with with his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande is publicity for his next release Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Rajkummar and Patralekha intend to get married, though they are in no hurry to do so.

Explains Rajkummar, “Right now we are both busy consolidating our respective careers. Of course we’ll get married eventually . But we haven’t given this matter that much thought. Marriage would be just an extension of our relationship.”
