Raju Shrivastava: Yes I Am Officially On Board For Kapil Sharma’s Show!

Stand-up comedian Raju Shrivastva has hopped on the bandwagon to replace Sunil Grover on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Sighs Raju, “I don’t like it when people say I’ve replaced Sunil. I don’t think any of us can replace one another. We all have our place.Sunil is an old friend, and so is Kapil. I was hoping to bring about a reconciliation between the two. I did call up Sunil a number of times. He said he was out of town and would get back to me as soon as he returned.”

Raju feels the incident that happened in midair leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. “I really don’t know what happened. But when people hear about their favourite comic actor getting drunk, misbehaving …the wrong signal is sent out. People lose faith in the power of comedy to heal and bring happiness.”

Raju feels a show like The Kapil Sharma Show should not be trifled with. “It’s a big responsibility , and you cannot shrug off your responsibility.When a comedian or a comedy show does well, the entire comic fraternity benefits.When [tooltip id=”88b6af99531f838ed90aed058b7d870a”][tooltip id=”c1b465420d07c688942ed18eadfd9f92″ keyword_color=”#000000″ background_color=”#ffffff”][tooltip id=”4db8f5608d45f5de7881d9bce162f4bf”]Salman Khan[/tooltip][/tooltip][/tooltip] charges Rs 50crores only then can Ajay Devgan charge Rs 20 crores. Raju feels the happenings  in  the comedy world have a snowballing effect. “It’s  like we are  all connected.And we all have our place.When Kapil asked me to join him I wondered if it was right to do so. All I wanted to do was to bring about a patch-up between Kapiland Sunil.Now I find myself in the show.I can’t say what will happen in the future.”

So far Raju has recorded for three episodes of  The Kapil SharmaShow . “And it’s been a lot of fun. Kapil has always been very warm and polite with me.Whatever happened with Sunil and the others should not have happened.I believe there were two other similar incidents previously. Iss baar thoda zyada ho gaya.”

Raju feels he is in a  precarious situation. “Sunil and others are not coming to the show.
