Rakul Preet Singh Signs Up Opposite Siddharth Malhotra

While Rakul Preet Singh’s career in  Telugu cinema is going great guns, what with her latest release Spyder starring Mahesh Babudrawing huge attention before release, her career in Bollywood has taken longer to get started.

After two false starts in T Series’ Yaariyan(average earner) and Ramesh Sippy’s Simla Mirch(unreleased) the  pretty actress has finally signed solid A-quality Hindi  project.

The  film is Aiyaary with Sidharth Malhotra  which is being shot in Kashmir.

The  film is directed by Neeraj Pandey who earlier gave  another popular Telugu actress Kajal Aggarwal’s career a boost in SpecialChabbis after it refused to take off in Bollywood .

Says a  source, “There were other A-list Bollywood names being considered for Aiyaari .Sidharth wanted his good friends Alia Bhatt orJacqueline Fernandez in the project. But this is a start-to-finish quickie and the makers needed bulk dates from an actress. Rakul who has just wrapped up Spyder had the dates.”

Let’s hope she is third-time lucky in Bollywood .
