Ranveer-Deepika Will Have No Shots Together In Padmavati

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next costume drama Padmavati  is about the forbidden passion of Allauddin Khilji for the wife of the King Of Mewar. While Deepika Padukone will play the bewitching Queen, Ranveer has been cast as Allauddin Khilji.

Interestingly, the two , said to be a real-life couple,will share no screen space at all this time.

Says an informed source, “Padmavati is the ultimate saga  of forbidden love. Ranveer’s character is completely besotted by Deepika.When he is forbidden access to her a war breaks out between the state of Mewar and the Khilji dynasty. But she never meets the man who loses his heart to her.So there will be not a shot where Ranveer and Deepika will shoot together.”

An interesting twist is thereby provided to the Ranveer-Deepika alliance that reached new peaks of shared passion in Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani.
